"It was disappointing to find Leeming 777 had removed the blood pressure monitoring machine for customers to use after so many years (they now keep the monitor out the back and charge $5 to use it.) This one small gesture of allowing local customers to check their blood pressure offered the feeling that my local pharmacy was actually concerned about health rather than just Pharmacy 777's franchise bottom line (remember when we knew the name of our local pharmacy owner?). But more than that, it suggested 777 Leeming also retained a sense of community by making available a small health tool for local customers to use with no expectation of profit. That small machine had far more value than the $5 you've now attached to it. Edited to reply. It was a free self-check service for more than the last twenty years. New ownership at Leeming pharmacy?? My three monthly scripts will now be going elsewhere."
