"Moderately happy with our pool and it’s installation two years ago now. The project closure could’ve been a little more clear but we got what we paid for. Whatever you do though don’t get pavers surrounding, go for exposed aggregate concrete, pavers shift and are horrible to clean."

"Do not purchase your pool from this unscrupulous company also known as Aquatic Leisure Technologies. I am currently in the process of taking legal action to recover the costs of having to replace all filtration and pool controller equipment. I was sold products that do not meet manufacturer claims and have been unable to resolve for 2 years. Research Aquatic Leisure Technologies before you sign any contracts and note they own other Pool businesses not just Buccaneer Pools. I still have not received a refund for the faulty equipment despite having requested this multiple times in writing. The Google Review reply from the owner advises that a refund has been approved, however the company refuses to make the refund. Waiting for Consumer Protection outcome and then taking legal action for damages."

"Firstly, I have been renovating houses for 18 years and never left a negative review. However, after our experience with our pool installation, I have been motivated to do so. Our pool was finally installed 8 weeks ago after dramas with the water mains being severed during the dig, which they new about from the scan. A plumber had not been arranged and I was told that I would have to arrange one. After jumping up and down, the office finally organised a plumber to come. The pump was commissioned with an extension lead on Xmas eve,10 days later. The compaction was not done for several weeks, resulting in the pool bowing on the long side. We paid a ludicrous amount of money to have swim jets as my wife is a competitive open water swimmer and wants to train at home. 8 weeks later we are still waiting for these to be properly installed and commissioned. Over the past 8 weeks I have had to phone countless times to get the next stage done (plumbing, electrical and compaction), as we have had no communication from the office. Each time I call, they seem surprised that the work hasn't been done. We also purchased a heat exchanger, which is still sitting next to the pool in its box, waiting for it to be installed, plumbed and commissioned. I've never dealt with such a disorganised company before and can't believe I have been driven to leave this review. Everyone I speak to have had a similiar experience with pool companies! The only positive thing I can say is that the contractors who have worked on the pool have been outstanding. They seem over worked and are also frustrated by the lack of organisation. Rant over, I'm going for a dip in my unfinished pool!"

"The attitude of the salesman was shocking. Not only had they jacked up their prices by nearly $10k in 12 months, he was completely unapologetic and dismissive saying things like, "Covid tax... It is what it is." Considering we used Buccaneer for our last pool, we had intended to use them again but I am really surprised by how much has changed. We won't be back, nor will we use anyone else that sits on under their parent company (Sapphire, Aqua Technics, Riverina, etc)"

"One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had in Perth. They didn't put the pool in the approved council location and did most of the work twice because they failed to install correctly the first time. After putting the pool in the ground, it took them 4 weeks to finish and provide equipment. Every trade left all their rubbish after they completed their scope. The 1 star is because the completion person was efficient, informative and sympathetic. Very quick to send their invoices even when the work wasn't complete."
