"Great for kids who like to play around with water as with the jumping water fountains in quite small scale, with lots of shade too, and public toilets nearby for cleaning up. If that is not enough, then just go onto the protected inlet beach and play or swim without worrying about waves, except that the water was a bit stagnant and didn't look to be clean. It should be OK since it is still link to the ocean!"
"Great little spot for little kids and paddle boarding. The toilets and change facilities are pretty low quality considering it's meant to attract young families. The parking is limited but street parking is generally available if you don't mind a short walk. The water is a bit murky and not the cleanest, which is to be expected since there are virtually no waves in the protected inlet. There's a cute little water jet/fountain area that even little toddlers can enjoy. Not a ton of grassy area like I'd expected, but enough, a lot of it is relatively inclined, so eve more limited for those with infants that might roll away. But certainly worth a visit especially if you're looking for uber calm waters to introduce littlies to the ocean."

"A nice sheltered beach area perfect for young children or for a cool swim. White beach sand to play in and a grass area with a fun little water paddeling area for toddlers. No shade on the beach, people often take a pop up small beach shelter. Bbq area and toilets off to the side. A pathway along the marina joins the areas."
"We had a great time, the park was not over crowded and we were lucky enough to get a seats and a BBQ all to ourselves. The water was clear and calm and the kids played for ours without our assistance. Definately coming back."
