At the Perth OCD Clinic, our team of clinical psychologists has a special interest in the field of OCD. To create a centralised service for the WA OCD community, we have assembled Perth's first dedicated team of highly experienced, independently practising clinical psychologists. We work closely with Perth's leading consultant psychiatrists and general practitioners to facilitate a multidisciplinary treatment approach.

Our clinical psychologists regularly attend professional development workshops focusing on different subtypes and areas unique to OCD. Each clinician has a wide range of experience and training in other psychological areas, allowing us to match each client's unique experience of OCD with the most suitable clinical psychologist.

At the Perth OCD Clinic, we also provide advanced training to other mental health care professionals in the assessment and treatment of OCD and related disorders. Our aim is not only to help OCD sufferers in Perth but also to advance the treatment and research of OCD internationally. We collaborate on research projects with the Yale OCD Research Clinic, focusing on the development, testing, and publication of supplementary psychological strategies for treatment-resistant OCD.

Dr Maloney, our Clinical Director, has published OCD research in peer-reviewed journals and presented research at national and international OCD conferences and symposiums. With a wealth of clinical experience and specialist interests in the field of OCD, our team at the Perth OCD Clinic is proud to be the first specialty outpatient clinic in Australia registered with the International OCD Foundation.

Comprising a team of independently practising clinical psychologists, we work collectively to provide the highest level of care. All our clinicians have undergone specialised training in OCD provided by Dr Gayle Maloney, Clinical Director at Perth OCD Clinic, and Associate Clinical Professor at Yale University School of Medicine.
