"Chelsea Flooring provided a great quote. Their service was professional and very efficient. Ross came out to measure up then Jeremy completed a final check prior to Brent arriving to install the flooring. I recommend this company to anybody wishing for a competitive quote along with excellent service."
"We recently had Jarrah flooring installed for our newly built home in Rossmoyne. Ross was extremely helpful and David and his team have done an amazing job with the floor. We absolutely love our floor and all our friends and family have also commented on how great it looks. We highly recommend Chelsea flooring and will definitely use their services in future!!!"
"ATFA inspector has made a mistake by quoting incorrect standards, he used floor board standards instead of parquetry flooring. When tested both used and unused materials were within the lower level limit of the parquetry flooring standards. Also, as an experienced installer it is Chelsea Flooring’s responsibility to check the moisture content of the flooring materials before this installation. Chelsea has accepted the flooring deemed suitable to install, complain after the event is not a professional practice. The moisture issue and minor peaking of floor boards do not have any link with staining issues on my floor and delaminating of the polyurethane coating. Chelsea used this as an excuse to hide their very poor work. Chelsea has agreed to rectify the flooring, but I was asked to pay very close the amount of original installation cost. Chelsea tried to make a profit from their very poor work. The other issues mentioned here are not correct, I do not wish to provide comments due to pending court proceedings This dodgy business has put his business in internal administration to avoid facing the music, They think their threat of legal action will remove my post and keep fool other people. My advice is to not to believe these people. They are only very friendly until they get your business and money."
"Objective opinion 5 out of 5, reviewed on Sep 17, 2018 I refer to the consumer comments regarding Chelsea Flooring posted on 15th May 2018, which on reflection does not appear to reflect a fair appraisal of the facts as I know them to be. The home owner issues were assessed by two separate independent ATFA inspectors (of which I was one at the time), and whilst issues with the floor finish were identified and a remedial response recommended, separate issues relating to the integrity of the flooring product which was not the responsibility of Chelsea flooring was complicating or compounding the remedial strategy. The delays in resolving the issues were largely generated by the refusal of the Australian distributor and by the home owner to accept that the product provided to Chelsea Flooring was defective. It should be noted that when a flooring contract does not include the supply of materials or material components, the responsibility for defective materials cannot be passed on exclusively to the installer. Scientific testing of the material purchased and supplied by the home owner failed to meet the standards necessary for stable in-service performance nor the advertised specifications of the supplier."
"Chelsea flooring has installed my parquetry flooring in August 2016, Although I had few other cheaper quotes from professional installers, I went to Chelsea flooring as I thought they will do a better job. Unfortunately, it was a disaster, I has stained floor their sating was not consistent, and has very dark patches everywhere. Also, I my flooring had problem with quoting, it started peeling off. They initially said it due to winter time it will take 2-4 weeks to cure the coating, but after even two moths it did not make any difference. When I approach them I only received verbal abuse from the person called Ken. After paying nearly $30, 000 to install my floor it was a great gift, and they might have thought this approach will solve their rubbish work. As they refused come ad rectify my flooring I had to hire some other installer to rectify my flooring. As a result, I had to delay moving in to my house more than 6 months. The repair cost and my loan interest this has cot me more than another $30,000. My only advice to others is: avoid these people at any cost they are the worst in the industry."
