"Never again. My partner bought me a pair of gold hoop earrings as a gift, after I suggested he shop at Michael Hill - not his usual jewellery store of choice. Despite the nearly $500 price tag, they are flimsy to the point that I’m terrified to even try to wear them. Trying to do up the clasp makes them bend out of shape. Furthermore, even though he was issued a gift receipt and unsold on an unnecessary “care plan” there are apparently no exchanges on earrings. When I went in to exchange I was told to “regift to a friend or sister” or “sell on marketplace”. I’m not sure who is giving their friends $500 presents, but it sure isn’t me. I’m also not sure why we should lose hundreds of dollars in value to sell on marketplace when the product they sold is such poor quality. Never ever again. Buyer beware."
