"Gorgeous little park to watch some games with the Fifa women's world cup! Parking is at a premium but easy access with public transport! (We walked) Plenty of amenities security and ease of access to drinks and food! Any obstructed views are at a minimum and not what we would consider obstructed anyway if you are in front row seats on any level! The usual leg room as with any stadium and always great to see the kids catered for!"
"Was recommended to try this pool for lap swimming and was a little disappointed. It’s a huge complex with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. There appeared to be lots of classes (with children running around everywhere) and it was a little difficult to find out which lanes were actually available for laps. The outdoor pools were clean and the water temp was good. I didn’t see any lifeguards outside the last time I visited, so I’m not sure what that was about. The place itself appears to be showing its age—the locker rooms were a bit run down and the pools were older, though generally well maintained. Also, for those using public transportation, the pool is right off the bus route, though it definitely was outside of the main touristy part of town. Although the pool was okay, I’d recommend going to one of the other pools in the city (like Beatty Park) to swim laps if you have the option."
"Disappointing venue if you are disabled. No across parking available and parking was a nightmare. Parking attendants did not speak English and had no clue what was going on. Thankfully there was a wonderful fellow when we eventually got on the stadium who found us seats as the seats we had we not suitable for disability. Only saving grace of the night."
"Volunteers were a great help for parking and directions to pick up HBF shirts for Sunday. #Hbffunrun2023"
"Good mid size venue for concerts and other events. When going for big events I highly recommend reverse parking to ensure you can get out easier, especially when in overflow areas on the grass. It would be good if for events they had more flood lighting near grass parking space as it is very difficult to see at night. I have been to several concerts here over the years (alt-J twice, The Wombats, The 1975, Perth Symphony Orchestra to name a few) and always found the sound to be high quality, especially given the venue size. Most recently I have been to two concerts at RAC/Perth arena (much bigger and made for massive concerts) and found the sound there during support acts to be incredibly poor, but HBF stadium and the sound techs do a good job of making sure the quality is consistently high. To mitigate some of the parking issues, if we are in GA Standing for concerts we go to the back near the door during encore so we can rush out and get to the car quickly and usually this avoids the long queues to leave."
