"Went through the Red Rooster web site to order chickens for a function. It took my payment and confirmed it had been ordered. On that day I had to call twice to see if this order was with the store and to make sure I could rely on it being delivered in time. They advised they did not have any record of my order, but said it should show up between 15-30 minutes before the event. I stressed how important it was as I had a lot of guests relying on this for lunch. The contact there said she would call me 15 minutes before it was due to be delivered just to confirm whether they had it in their system. She did not do this. I called for a 3rd time asking where it was. No one had any idea. In the end I had to send a guest to go and get the chicken and had to pay for the chicken a second time. A couple of days later their head office confirmed the order had been made 5 days prior to the event just as I had said. No apology, no reason given as to why I didn't get my chicken delivered. Very disappointing experience, caused great inconvenience and there was no going out of the way to help me when this had been ordered already. Unbelievably poor service, poor ordering system and very poor customer service."

"Generally pretty happy with this store how ever tonight was a little slow. We waited for some time before we acknowledged and served. Food was warm not hot, limp chips which are never pleasant from a fast food store. Several tables needed cleaning which we have never come across in this store. Tonight a little bit let down."

"Unprofessional, Extreme Rudeness, when her rudeness was brought up, I was told "I Don't Care" from a young red head female cashier that portrays major attitude, she refused to give me my receipt both purchases, the young male manager and red head cashier, blatant touchy feely between each other in front of me, also winking at each other and then facing me and then laughing at me when making the complaint. Highly unprofessional to say the least and so glad they are not working in my businesses. Then on top of it and this was twice over a 2 week period, I complained to this young manager about the rudeness and refusal of the receipt the first time and the rudeness of this red hair cashier and she may need retraining, but the second time they both showed signs of recognising me by my car, they again winked at each other, looked at me and laughed at me again, and once again I had to ask for my receipt. Which I found quite intimidating second time around. No wonder they both were laughing at me, once I got home and opened the ordered food, chicken wings were old and cold and the chips were wet. (I had ordered this many times from this Red Rooster and the food was still hot once home and certainly not wet). I wasn't sure what the liquid was on the chips but never have I had this kind of treatment from a takeaway food outlet. All other Red Rooster outlets and their staff in the area are amazing compared to Albany Creek. These two staff members in this Red Rooster may need more training in service or better still out of the public service side of the job. Poor representation of the Red Rooster Chain. I also have no record of this purchase, after asking 4 times for my receipts, ONCE again like my first visit, they gave me someone else's receipt with an eftpos payment and I had paid with cash. Very dodgy. Late review as I was unwell to top it off. Jan 2023."

"Service was very slow. Had to park and wait more than 20 minutes for fried chicken. It does not make sense. A Fried Chicken Take Away with no fried chicken? Does that make you the manager of a salad bar?"
