"Can not testify to the quality of the food as after five minutes standing at the counter waiting to be served I gave up. This is not the first time this has happened, four staff chatting and laughing around the drive thru/drinks area. Not everyone wants depersonalised service by using a touch screen. Probably the last time I’ll probably visit. PS KFC next door was excellent."

"Ordered a quarter pounder, small fries, choc sundae, 2 different drinks and sizes and a raspberry & Custard pie through the interactive kiosk. When we received the order, the drinks were put in the wrong cups (the drink we ordered to be in the medium cup being in the large and vice versa). I also realised the sundae was missing completely when we got the food and had to ask to get it. We left thinking we had everything and once we got home we realised that we were missing the Raspberry & Custard pie on top of that. Too many mistakes in 1 relatively small order to be okay."

"Could not pay with cash . I stood there for nearly 5 mins until someone came and asked me if I needed help . The supervisor was like hiding behind a wall playing with her phone. The staff at this Mc donalds are trying to do their job , but it is a ship with no rudder . Food is average . prices are high , service is average . I will try not to go as much in the future."

One of the most irritating problems we've encountered is the inconsistency in product quality. What should be a simple and enjoyable visit to McDonald's has turned into a guessing game of whether we'll receive hot, crispy fries or a cold, chewy disappointment. The latest issue we encountered was just that – cold, chewy fries that required reheating in our air fryer at home, despite living only two minutes away from the restaurant. It's a testament to the lack of care and attention put into the preparation and delivery of the food we receive. Frustrations like these can quickly overshadow any positive experiences. The Albany Creek McDonald's drive-through continuously fails to meet the expectations set by the McDonald's brand. As much as we'd like to continue supporting our local franchise, the continuous disappointment in service and product quality has forced us to consider alternative options. Until significant improvements are made, we can only give them a 1 out of 5 stars rating, and we encourage others to be cautious when visiting. At the very least check your order before leaving the driver through window."

"Went on Wednesday morning and received order quickly but some staff were disinterested and rolled their eyes when asked to sort out an item issue. Baby change table was dirty and broken. I defy any manager to change an infant here."
