"I am an Autistic teacher and PhD candidate studying Neurodivergence, including medical experiences when seeking help. Based on the name of the centre I was highly concerned about its nature (Autistics are notorious regarding our stance on ABA therapy). Based on these reviews, however, all the parents singing his praises are centreing the benefits to their child, while all the parents complaining are doing so because he did not spoon feed or hand hold; he simply centred the child and their needs over the parents' wants or potentially harmful opinions (which FYI is exactly what you want in a Dr). In a world where so few Neurodivergent affirming Drs are out there, to come across one in the wild like this (though I suspect he may himself be Neurodivergent given how everyone is describing him. Either that or he's just had enough of people's garbage opinions on things they don't understand and refuse to learn about), I have just GOT TO MEET THIS DR!!! (Seriously I need an email address)"
"Doctor Leslie treated my daughter for ADD when she was in primary school and 3 years behind others her age. She took medication and within a couple of years had caught up and stopped medication. Today, a decade later she is going to University. She has been taking medication and half the full time load which works for her. She’s empowered and confident. Thank you to Dr Leslie and his team who told us the facts and helped get us to where we are today, building a bright future."
"Highly do not recommend. Doctor was rude and insensitive. He implied that i don't know what trauma is after going through aftermath of family violence and death. He told me that it's not up to me if my son needs medication. Blew me off three times when I brought up eating issues. After telling him that dad couldn't be there because of work he told me that he's just going to have to take my word for it and he can't treat him without the father. Never had a worse excperience with a doctor."
"knowledgable Dr who assisted where others didn't try. His manner is to the point and honest and he isn't about sugar coating the truth which I believe a lot of the negative reviewer wanted. My son with the dr's assistant went from constantly being suspended at school to achieving B's& C's in his school reports. Remember reviewers it's not only the doctors responsibility to help your child but you personally need to build a support base and spend the time and effort to assist your child in their development"
"Highly do not recommend. This doctor was totally insensitive on sensitive topics. He came across rude aggressive in the way he worded things. In a few occasions told me point blankly I was wrong in my opinion! He tried to diagnose my son with just the notes he had taken on paper after only speaking to me for a little an hour or two. And told me there is no other way I can help my son unless I medicate. When questioned about anything else I could do he insisted firmly and rudely that no he will not do well in life unless is is medicated. And Then told me at the end of my meeting that I need someone to watch my six month old baby at our next appointment ( who is BF only ). Because I need take this seriously!!! I’m disgusted!!!"
