Reviews
"I have been going to this clinic for many years. In recent times the level of service has dropped considerably. I have fibromyalgia and the lack of care and empathy from the doctor at my last visit was very upsetting. My last appointment I was questioned intensely after I requested a blood test and then I was told that they can’t do anything to help my fibromyalgia and that I need to be more positive and work on my resilience. The advice I had previously gotten from a different doctor at the same clinic was then contradicted and questioned. I paid $205 for this experience."
"After seeing several of the GP's at Women's wellbeing I can say the quality of care I have received has been really lovely. Each of the GP's I have spoken to have taken time and care with my issues and experiences. I would really recommend coming here, Dr Bronwyn and Dr Tara especially were amazingly kind. Yes it's expensive, but it's so worth it to me."
"Attended this clinic for many years and more recently became disappointed with the services provided. Went for two immunisations which were provided by the government for free. 2 minute consult, blood pressure taken and still charged over $150. Received a Medicare rebate, but still significantly out of pocket. Also an urgent referral was sent to the wrong place and I was left waiting for 3 days for a call that was never going to come. Had to chase it up myself. No contact or follow up made by the clinic."
"Went in for a Mirena replacement. Spent $200 and waited an hour for initial consultation to discuss procedure. Day of procedure, waited another hour and then the Dr forgot to remove the old Mirena before inserting the new one. Queue a day of me running around having scans etc and in hindsight I don’t believe the doctor even apologised for the error. AVOID."
"I brought my friend here a few times to see Dr Melanie Burnett, after having a very traumatic experience at another clinic. My friend has some complex gynae issues and Dr Burnett seemed very thorough, kind and patient. She took the time to explain everything to my very anxious friend and made her feel comfortable so much so I didn't have to attend with her for her last visit! Clinic area was nice, female staff out front were very welcoming. Well done!"
