"Had a phone appointment with Dr Curson to get my scripts renewed as he was going on holidays. Requested Dr Curson to send scripts to my phone. He printed them accidentally so could not send to my phone. He told me I had to pick them up. Explained that I had just had my ulcer scrubbed and redressed at the hospital and couldn't get around due to the pain plus I don't drive. I asked if he could fax them to the chemist. He replied that Medicare doesn't pay him for that. I said that was unfair as he had made the mistake. He said if I don't like it I can go somewhere else. He knows they are pain relief pills that are monitored by the Government and it would be very unlikely I could get them prescribed by another doctor since he had done the scripts today. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who needs care. He appears to just care about himself and his bank balance. Shame on him. An hour later I rang the receptionist whom was absolutely wonderful and had no issue in faxing the scripts to my local chemist. 5 stars to reception. Dr Curson should take lessons from these ladies. Thankyou to the reception staff."

"I have experienced exceptionally rude treatment by the front desk staff and practice manager when I attended the practice for my booked appointment. The receptionist told me that I had missed my appointment and I was 30 minutes late. I showed my booked time (for which I was 4 minutes early) to her and she still insisted that their system was correct, and “obviously the appointment was booked for the earlier time”. I showed my booked time to her again to verify I was attending the practice at the correct time. The practice manager came out and informed me that “I was the one who booked the appointment” with an extremely rude ‘I told you so” tone. I was told I could wait until the doctor had an availability, but reception were unable to tell me how long I would need to wait. I told the practice manager not to worry about it, and that I would not attend a practice that treats patients with such rudeness. She attempted a retort, but I ignored her and left the practice. I have been a patient at this practice for over 10 years, and I will not return. Their front of house staff are obviously miserable, and I have noted this for some time, but I will not tolerate such impolite behaviour from their staff. I appreciate that no staff should be abused by customers, and I have always been polite. When there is an OBVIOUS error with their booking system, I will not be blamed, and would appreciate some understanding and a desire to deliver to the practice customer service commitments instead of treating practice patients like dirt. I guess in these days of doctor shortages the front staff no longer need to treat their customers with respect. I find that very disappointing. At least I know not to return to this practice now."
