"If false promises & zero customer contact is what you're looking for this is the place for you! After being sold a coach on the premise of a early august delivery (over 2 months after the purchase) & continued updates on the progress of our order we received nothing. When I called to follow up I was promptly hung up on by a staff member who was clearly over it. Called back and was promised a call back with an update that never game. Had to open a complaint to receive my first call back. Mind you this wasn’t till the quoted latest expected delivery which is exceptional. Followed by being reassured that it would be to us by the 24th of august at the latest now and we will receive an update on the following Monday. Again no contact from the King team and I had to chase them up again. Was told now the 28th. Shortly after this I was blown away to receive an update from king days later and wouldn’t you guess it! It’s been delayed again. All in all I was lied to several times just so they could make money selling goods they have no intention of delivering. I implore you all to have a read of the hilarity that is peoples experiences with King before purchasing everything. So all in all, if you are looking to be scammed, lied to and hung up on King is the best you can get. If you want common decency and to get your order go anywhere else."

"If I could give a rating of 0/5 I certainly would. Dealing with King Furniture Brisbane is the most frustrating and worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Twice I’ve been assured of delivery of a sofa and twice it’s been cancelled on the delivery date. The first time the cancellation was because the sofa was not even in the country yet. I found this out on delivery day which had been confirmed the day before. I then requested a loan sofa for which I have now been waiting a couple of weeks. This is despite the sofa being in Brisbane; the ineptitude astounds me. I was guaranteed the loan sofa would be delivered today and yet again I find out on delivery day it’s not being delivered. King Furniture customer service is a complete farce. Nobody knows what’s going on and the various components of the company (showroom, dispatch) are unable to work together effectively and efficiently. It’s a COMPLETE MESS! Buyer beware."

"Have made several purchases from King Living Fortitude Valley over the last 15 years. Definitely can’t fault quality of furniture, very robust and looks great. Have always found sales staff to be very accommodating. Customer Service, delivery and installation have always been exceptional. Can’t rate highly enough."

"SHOUT OUT. In March last year, we bought King pieces in the Brisbane showroom. King stored the items for over 12 months following unforeseen damages to our home from the rain event. Not once did King complain or make us feel like they would not help us with our very extended stay. We have had the most exceptional customer service at King, from Jane in the showroom to Daniel on my account management, and equal to the quality of the products that they sell. Huge thanks Daniel to you and the King team!"

"Disappointing experience, 2 weeks ago we thought buying a showroom display sofa should be a straightforward process and we were informed it would be delivered the following week. The day before expected delivery we have not received any information on when the delivery would come, so we called and to our surprise our sofa delivery has not been placed at all!! Then the staff on phone reassured delivery will be arranged in the coming Friday and we should receive notice during weekend. But then again nothing came in and we called the dispatch team today and once again we were being told the delivery for this Friday still not confirmed!!! I'm not sure what kind of customer experience this is, that we have to keep chasing and chasing to get our item delivered."
