Located at The Boulevard in Brisbane Airport, our centre is designed around your little explorer and focuses on play-based learning. At Journey Brisbane Airport, we understand the importance of a smooth school transition. Our dedicated team works hard to provide a safe and secure environment where children develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead. Our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are led by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolled in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program receive ongoing support from teachers through our School Readiness Program.

Speaking of Hazel, let us introduce you to our Centre Manager. Hazel hails from the beautiful Isle of Ireland but has been lucky enough to call Australia home for the last seven years. With 18 years of experience working with children across different settings, Hazel's passion lies in the Early Education sector. She believes that childhood is a time for children to be, to seek, and to make meaning of the world around them. Hazel is committed to respecting the rights of each and every child and encouraging a sense of agency. She looks forward to sharing in this exciting journey with you and your family at Journey Brisbane Airport.

We also believe in the importance of connecting with the local community. Interacting and bonding with the community creates a sense of familiarity and belonging for our children. It sets the scene for them to rightfully respect their local environment. Our curriculum includes nature-based play, as we believe that nature is the greatest teacher. It teaches vital life skills such as confidence, independence, exploration, and cooperation. Playing outside also promotes health and wellbeing and teaches children respect for the environment.
