"Well, where do we start.... We got in around 11:30pm after a very interesting experience at the airport (HUGE queues). The queue at reception was long enough that we were standing in the doorway, the 2 receptionists were doing their best. After about 10 minutes a 3rd appeared which was most appreciated; and then a manager came out from the back office, wouldn't look anyone in the eye and just kept going - a break perhaps? Room was clean which was great. Bathroom stank of possible previous guests with upset bellies. When we pulled back the sheets, the bottom sheet came out as well, so we remade the beds. Pillows would be considered expensive if bought at KMart, they were horrible. Breakfast.... The mushrooms were great... couldn't eat anything else. Bread was nicely displayed and had dried out. Coffee machine was not working so they said we had to buy coffee (from the espresso machine). Really? My wife had a croissant and I wish I could have thrown it to the French Embassy...however it would have broken their window. And again, the line of Chefs and Managers came through to get their espresso's... Upon departing we realized that the Pullman was next door, perhaps the flow of managers was for both hotels; however never a good show when there are more managers that staff - especially when the staff are struggling to keep up... Convenient hotel - you get a star for that. Value for money (any value for money), service and product - not."
"Excellent location. Easy walk to the domestic terminal and transport. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Windows are double glazed to keep all the airport noise out. They also have excellent blinds that keeps the rooms dark. Shower head is small and coarse. Toilet door would not stay completely shut. Would definitely recommend."
"Great little hotel for Airport overnight stay, easy 8-10 min walking distance to domestic terminal(virtually undercover walk the whole way) Rooms are small but adequate for short stay, restaurant downstairs serves awesome food and can be ordered takeaway back to room. Don't remember hearing any airport noise and had a good sleep before early morning flight."
"Good rooms, especially when you put it into perspective, it's located right beside the airport for a purpose. It's not a holiday destination, it's a transit hotel. It fills this role well. Rooms are fine, blackout curtains are a bonus, it was quiet on the 9th floor. Check in was simple and courteous. Restaurant was busy and the lamb Rump was of good quality. I've got no complaints, and will gladly transit through here again."
