"This is a funky bar with very limited space. We waited over an hour for 3 drinks at one point, after reminding the staff we were still waiting on them. Unfortunately the bar is way too small for the amount of people it can occupy and there seems to be a lack of structure and customer service."

"It’s really nice to a “ local “ just down the road and for Ashgrovians the Junk bar is exactly that! It been here since about 2010 and I have enjoyed many visits! It’s somewhat quirky with 1970 s photography wallpaper of wild Canadian wilderness! It is amazing how many people that can comfortably fit in such a small place ! A good range of drinks is available although there’s no Kitchen staff are happy to fetch you a pizza from across the street My favourite drink is a cocktail called the junk cherry It is made with Cointreau Vodka Cambord and cream topped with a cherry ! It tasted like a Black Forest cake! Occasionally local band scans artist s perform in an adjoining performance space .it has room for 30 -40 It is easier to find now it has a bright sign on the awning, for many years there was no exterior advertisement advising it’s location!"
