About the Business
Welcome to the Wellington Point Farm Market Hall, located at 625 Main Road in Wellington Point, Australia. As one of the few remaining operational market garden farms in Redland City, we are proud to continue the tradition of fruit and vegetable growing that has been a part of the Redlands since the 1800s.
Known as "Brisbane's Salad Bowl," the Redlands has a rich farming heritage, and we aim to celebrate and preserve that history. Our vision for the Wellington Point Farm is not only to provide high-quality produce to the community but also to educate and promote a healthy eating philosophy. We believe in the farm-to-plate concept and strive to connect people with the food they consume.
Seasonality plays a significant role in our farming practices, with the cooler months being the most active for production. The mild climate and warm red soil of Wellington Point create the perfect conditions for our signature crop, strawberries, which are available from late May until October. We also grow tomatoes and a variety of other vegetables, all carefully selected to meet our goal of selling all of our produce through the Market Hall and Farmhouse Restaurant.
At the Wellington Point Farmhouse Restaurant, Coffee Shop, and Market Hall, we don't just make food; we create experiences. Our commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences is reflected in our farm-to-table approach and the passion of our team. Adrian Lynch, our farm manager, has dedicated his life to growing high-quality fresh produce, while Executive Chef Gordon MacGregor understands the importance of working with seasonal ingredients to create delicious and wholesome meals.
When you visit our Market Hall, you will find a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. We pride ourselves on offering old-fashioned customer service and catering to both family shoppers and dedicated food enthusiasts. Our focus is on sourcing the best quality local and Australian produce, with imported lines being a last resort. In addition to fresh produce, our Market Hall also features flowers, indoor plants, bakery items, and selected dry goods. Soon, we will be expanding our offerings to include delicatessen and meat products.
Join us at the Wellington Point Farm Market Hall and experience the taste of locally grown produce and the warmth of our community. We are located at 625 Main Road, Wellington Point QLD 4160, Australia.

"Fabulous farm with a lovely restaurant / coffee shop that serve delicious cream scones with strawberry jam. Made from fresh strawberries picked on the farm. Also have a huge fresh produce shop that sell freshly picked fruit and veges from the farm ."
"So authentic, genuine and generous, both the food and service were outstanding. Add the wonderful location and we'll definitely be back (if only to try the Kitchen's recommendation of the lamb!) Thanks so much for a lovely Sunday afternoon team, much appreciated."
"Really good breakfast. The fruit and veg is fresh and tasty. Bought some cashews and went back a day later to buy more."
"Had a fabulous lunch over at The Farm Wellington PT today. I thought we'd check it out after a recommendation from friends last week. The food was great and the venue is lovely but I was most blown away by the service. I'd booked online and was given the opportunity to note my allergies. When we were being seated they mentioned they new that one of us had allergies and that the waitress would be able to assist with the menu options for me. When the waitress came over she checked who had the allergy and showed us that she'd written them down. To say I was surprised and impressed is an understatement. Most restaurants make me feel nervous because they only really know about dietary requirements like dairy or gluten free or vegetarian or vegan. But these guys gave me confidence that they'd done their food safety/allergy training and took it seriously. On top of that the team were attentive without being annoyingly all over us and they were natural and friendly as well as professional. We'll be heading back there to try more of the menu in the not to distant future, I'm sure."
