Welcome to The Coffee Cart @ New Farm Neighbourhood Centre, a beloved institution located at 967 Brunswick Street in New Farm, Australia. As a cafe and point of interest, we not only serve delicious food and beverages, but we also offer free help and support for the challenges that life can bring.

At The Coffee Cart, we believe in creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone in our community. You're welcome to use our kitchen, laundry, showers, and computers, or simply drop by for a friendly chat. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where you can find support and participate in a wide range of social activities and events.

Getting to our location is convenient, as Bus 196 stops right outside the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre. Additionally, Bus 199 passes by the Brunswick St & Merthyr Rd intersection, just a few blocks away, and Bus 195 runs during peak times. While there is some street parking nearby, please note that there is no onsite parking available.

Operating from 9 am to 11 am on Mondays and Fridays, and from 9 am to 1 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, our centre provides a variety of support services within a safe space. Visit us to learn more about our facilities, services, and the exciting activities we have planned.

Through the generosity of the Patrons, we are able to provide immediate support to individuals facing specific needs. The Cart, our socially inclusive coffee hub, is one of the initiatives made possible by the Patrons and the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre. It offers a place for people from different walks of life to come together over fabulous Merlo coffee. Visitors to The Cart are encouraged to 'pay it forward' by shouting a coffee for someone in the community.

If you would like to support our cause, you can make a fully tax-deductible donation of $1000, which will directly benefit vulnerable individuals in our community. We appreciate the support and partnership of Communify, who work closely with us on various programs within the community.

Please be aware that during centre open hours, the space for hire is connected to the main activities of the neighbourhood centre, and some foot traffic may pass through. However, outside of these hours, the space offers complete privacy.

The Coffee Cart @ New Farm Neighbourhood Centre is more than just a cafe. It is a socially inclusive coffee hub, where people from the wonderfully diverse New Farm peninsula community can come together over an excellent cup of coffee. We also provide employment opportunities for those in need by training them to work as baristas.

Whether you're a neighbor, commuter, passer-by, or a member of our community, we invite you to stop by and share a coffee in our gardens or grab a take-away on your way. When you purchase a cup of coffee, you have the option to pay a little extra and pay it forward for someone who may be unable to buy one.
