"Late lunch from here today. Pretty good, not great. Food was tasty enough. Just not up to 5 stars. Considering this is the only shop at Nudgee Beach, it was worth the $30 odd for 2 of us. If you're at Nudgee and you're hungry, I would suggest giving the place a go."
"I had the fish & chips deal. Fish was delicious, chips crispy, with a good dollop of tartar. I love places like Pam's - no pretence; just good food, good prices, and a smile."
"35 minutes wait for a small, $20.95 takeaway lemongrass beef salad. When i expressed my disappointment about the long wait the manager was rude and said “you should have said you were in a hurry” and did not acknowledge the poor experience."
"Arrived just as they were rolling the shutters down but the owner kindly offered to open the kitchen for us. Lucky for us as we had walked 6kms to get there and there was nowhere else to go! We enjoyed snapper, chips and salad and were very grateful for it!"
"This cafe is the only eatery available at Nudgee Beach and seemed to have lots of customers. We ordered fish and chips and were told it'd be 20mins. Whilst waiting for our order another customer returned his order. His second order wasn't much better and he ended up throwing it out. Other customers had also thrown their order out. Over an hour later after paying $50, we got a package of cold chips, raw potato scallops and lots of batter. All the fried items looked the same and were hard to identify what was what. What we thought was just batter was actually the smallest prawn I've ever seen. The crab sticks were stone cold. The fish was cold, fell apart and was a soggy moosh. It appeared to have been defrosted and refrozen again. It was totally inedible and we were sick after. I will definitely not be back"
