Welcome to The Café for The Common Good, a social enterprise located in Caboolture, Australia. As a social enterprise, we are dedicated to addressing social problems and improving our community and environment. By operating as a café, we are able to generate profits that sustain our charity's operational expenses, allowing us to maximize the impact of all charitable donations. In fact, every donation made to The Common Good goes directly towards medical research, ensuring that your contribution goes exactly where it is intended.

One of the key factors that sets us apart is our low overheads, made possible by the generous support of our partners and site hosts. This includes securing low to no rent spaces and establishing value-driven partnerships with suppliers such as Merlo Coffee Roasters. Our commitment to efficiency and sustainability has been recognized, as we were honored with the Lord Mayor's Business Award for Outstanding Social Enterprise in 2020. Additionally, we have received a Social Enterprise Growth Grant from the Queensland Government Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, enabling us to expand our fresh food vending machines to provide nutritious options to staff and hospital visitors after hours.

At The Café for The Common Good, we believe in supporting local Queensland growers and promoting a farm-to-plate philosophy. Our menus are curated daily, with a focus on seasonal produce. All of our food is freshly prepared onsite by our fully qualified chef. In addition to our barista-made Merlo coffee and hot drinks, we offer a variety of gourmet hot meals, sushi, sandwiches, soup, salads, and take-home meals.

We have multiple locations to serve our customers. The Main Café, located inside Caboolture Hospital, offers a wide range of options including hot meals, a sandwich bar, freshly made sushi, soup and salads, cold drinks, baked sweets, and a retail section with convenience foods, gifts, magazines, and essential items. The Hospital Entry Cafe provides cold drinks, Merlo coffee, and a small selection of sandwiches and snacks. The Emergency Entry Coffee Caravan also offers cold drinks, Merlo coffee, and a small selection of sandwiches and snacks.

In addition to our café services, we also offer catering options that can make a difference. Catering for The Common Good is part of our social enterprise businesses, meaning that every catering order supports crucial life-saving medical research. Our catering menu reflects our commitment to good health, offering a wide variety of breakfast, morning/afternoon tea, and lunch options. We also have a large range of platter selections available. Cold and hot beverages are also provided.
