"Danny Boys used to be a staple in Kelvin Grove but my experience today was too disappointing. We ordered 2 soups for our dinner tonight, and it came with white bread. The lady at the counter said “I just saw two random pieces of bread lying around so I threw it in”. So when I had the first bite of the bread, it was so off, it has this stale taste to it and the texture was crumbly, like bread from a few days old. So I took the trouble to go back to the store to return it and asked for fresh bread, they politey accepted, but I had a bite, and it was still crumbly so I gave up. Went home, and my wife had their tomato soup, it was incredibly sour! I understand a little bit of tarteness is ok for a tomato soup, but this was just too sour and too acidic. I has the chilli beef and it was incredibly salty, I had to struggle through finishing the entire bowl and had to drink so much water throughout. Don’t think we will be coming back anytime soon, breads are no longer fresh, soups were no longer comforting for a cold night."

"It’s so good. Favourite sandwich place. I just love the sandwiches and wish I could have them more but travelling 2 hrs all up there and back just for a sandwich, while I have done it before sadly isn’t practical for me :( but I try to eat here whenever I’m in the area. Love your work. "

"I went with friends and the food was absolutely amazing. I was greeted by a lovely lady that took out order at the cashier and quickly prepared our coffees. I had a hot chocolate that was delicious. My friends and I ordered 2 bag on and egg roll/panini/bagel (I forgot the name, it was a kind of bread), and the other friend got the big porky. The food was absolutely delicious! The environment was the only downside of this morning. Downstairs there was not much space, so we climbed the stairs to find a weird second floor. It had everything we needed (chairs and a table), but there are no windows so it felt really claustrophobic. We ate and left immediately. I wish the environment was nice so the whole experience could be better. The food was definitely much better than the environment. I'd go again and get a take away."

"We ordered a vego sandwich and there was chicken in it. What would have happened if I had not noticed? I took it to them and initially they were not even sorry just told me that they’ll replace it. Replaced and told sorry, but not something you would expect. Food is good but I’ll have to rethink before going."
