"This is a cute little café with indoor and outdoor seating in a nice spot near the water on the Redcliffe Peninsula. It’s very pleasant sitting outside on a warm winter afternoon. My wife and I stopped by for a light lunch, on our way to visit friends. We ordered two bagels, a cold drink and a small coffee. Nothing to complain about as far as food and service were concerned. The bagels were nice and chunky and filled with fresh and tasty ingredients. Service was friendly, polite and efficient. The ambience is casual, laid back and relaxed. There are clean toilets at the back and ample street parking nearby. But it was the prices that floored me. 36 pesos for two bagels, a small coffee and a cold drink! A year or two ago this would probably have cost about 28, so I mention this just to illustrate the extent to which Australia’s cost-of-living crisis is rapidly approaching Weimar Republic-like levels of hyperinflation. And I’m not really blaming the business sector or the restaurant industry for this either. If one wants to apportion blame for a situation, where even a modest lunch for two people sets you back 36 pesos, you need look no further than the Reserve bank with their policy of ultra low to zero interest rates going back to 2008, aided by govts of all persuasions addicted to spending and printing money. Thanks to them, our currency has become worthless and the simple pleasure of eating out at a restaurant is now unaffordable."

"Driving through the area we stopped into this place. Best brunch I’ve had for a while. The pancake (massive by the way), bacon, fries, coffee, smoothie and gluten free bagel were all amazing. Ingredients fresh and good quality. Sat in the winter sun with a nice cool breeze, perfect place to spend the morning. Staff were friendly and patient. Will be back."

"We ate lunch at the Fish and Chips shop and saw a coffee shop nearby, so we visited. This is a place where you can enjoy a variety of coffees. There are 3 types of coffee grinders, and the coffee machine also uses a premium grade coffee machine. They also sell filter brewed coffee. We ordered lattes and piccolo. Coffee has a special flavor. In other words, there is a kick. It smelled like the premium coffee I had in the past. what flavor is that cannot be expressed in writing. There were various seats and it was a comfortable place. We look forward to the food on our next visit."
