"We recently enjoyed a delightful meal, including the mouthwatering Shanghai grilled bran and the absolutely delicious stir fry long bean with pork mince. The flavors of the stir fry long bean were truly exceptional and left us craving for more. While we had a pleasant experience overall, the scallion oil pipis fell a bit short of our expectations. The pipis and green shallots didn't seem as fresh as we had hoped and the dish turned out to be a tad too oily, lacking the expected scallion fragrance. Nonetheless, the standout stir fry long bean with pork mince made our dining experience truly memorable. We're excited to explore more of Niya's Kitchen's offerings in the future!"
"Food looks like Shanghainese food, but what's meant to be on sweet side is tripe the saltiness...And the savory dishes are now sweet e.g. stir fried buns It was still able to bring back Shanghainese food memory 1 yr ago"
"the food quality, and taste is mouthwatering, of the order we experienced, the steamed chicken w.t peanut chilli sauce, but especially recommend the Shanghai style braised pork belly with eggs. OMG, in fact, this with rice is quite filling for 2."
"Would give 3.5 / 5 if I could. We ordered the stir fry noodle, broccoli and mushroom, and tofu with bamboo shoot. Definitely very flavoursome and on the saltier side. Portions for the noodle and broccoli were good, but the tofu dish came out quite small. We spent almost $55 for the three dishes and one rice."
"First time trying Niya's kitchen and was impressed with the food that we ordered. Flavours were pretty good but maybe slightly salty for some people. You'll need to order more rice to balance the salty flavours. Prices were a bit higher than other parts of Sunnybank but that's cause it's in the new building and serving sizes for each dish was decent. Customer service was not bad but maybe that's cause my friends could order in Mandarin. Overall this restaurant is worth trying."
