Michael Thorp (pharmacist) and staff member Tina, think it is okay to be very rude and dismissive to people, including elderly people and abruptly denying them service and telling them to get lost and find another pharmacist, before hanging up on them. Disgusting attitude. This is clearly reflected in their many bad reviews online. Will most certainly be reporting this matter, and this joke of a chemist to the Pharmacy Guild and all other relevant authorities. Response to owner. Perhaps if YOU were not rude to customers on the phone you wouldn't get it back. Learn to be mature adults, step up, admit when you are wrong...and behave like the professionals your community needs you to be. It's terrible you all act like moody petulant children. Michelle Phan, Stuart Ellis, and Peter Deickman should be ashamed of the treatment of customers...especially elderly customers at this business."

"Moved to Carina 6 months ago from Bulimba changed pharmacists for convenience. I was used to a great pharmacy at Bulimba. The pharmacist was completely uncaring and impersonal, with no care or concern for his customer. I would not recommend going here if you want a good pharmacist. Very disappointing. A conversation with the customer is all that is warranted - not a very unpleasant response from the counter staff. I wonder what the legal requirements are around privacy and confidentiality?"
