"Such a unique and charming place in a super quiet setting you wouldn’t expect of the Valley. The staff make this a truly fantastic experience. They’re friendly in a way that you feel like you’re dining at a friends restaurant. We tried quite a few dishes and shared them amongst our table, definitely recommend this place for dinner with friends or a date night before or after a movie. Update: They have changed the layout of furniture, the lighting and the ambience. That brings them up to perfect 5 stars across the board now. At this price point you won't find better in Brisbane."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m so incredibly disappointed in Italia Lane. I was so very excited to try out the restaurant as I am from interstate and due its raving reviews, however after this experience I will NEVER try and dine in there again. We tried to walk in for a table at 1pm today as we couldn’t reserve a table on the website, but we were turned away as they said that they didn’t have enough staff on and the kitchen was closing soon. However, on the website it says the restaurant closes at 3pm; I wasn’t aware that restaurants close their kitchens 2 hours before, so this should be written on the website so customers are made aware of this. Additionally, no where on the website does it say that they don’t take walk ins due to low numbers of staff. I’m from Melbourne and I have never received such terrible hospitality and service before from a restaurant. It shouldn’t be the customer’s responsibility if the restaurant doesn’t have enough staff on during service, it’s appalling that we were turned away. The restaurant looked very empty as well and they only had 3 tables of customers as you can see in the pictures of the outside and inside of the restaurant. So disappointing and I will be telling all my friends and family to NEVER go to this restaurant in Brisbane. You need to hire more staff if this is an issue for the restaurant. So disappointing."

"Went for the lunch special. The spaghetti and meatballs was up to par. Had a very faint kick to the sauce and the meatballs were nice and herb flavoured. Only wished they gave me a spoon so I wouldn't fumble with my fork like a primate."

"Ottima pizza napoletana!! If you feel homesick or want to try an authentic pizza, come here! The dough is very light, thin in the middle and with a big and soft crust. As it's supposed to be. I would like to find some variation with "mozzarella di bufala" as well! :) But anyway I totally recommend the pizza here. Friendly staff as well! Will go back when I return to Brisbane!"
