The journey of HFH Auto Group began almost 30 years ago when Geoff Harris and Ross Freer purchased a small Toyota dealership in Berwick. Back then, Berwick was considered a rural fringe suburb of Melbourne. Despite its humble beginnings, the dealership flourished, and today, some of the original employees are still with us.

Over the years, our group has grown and expanded. In 2007, Jonathan Hardwick joined as the Director and quickly became the Dealer Principal. In 2009, Sam Freer, Ross Freer's son, joined as the General Manager and is now a Director of HFH Auto Group.

In 2010, we changed our name from Harris Freer Toyota to Berwick Toyota and opened Pakenham Toyota, the first dealership in the thriving industrial area. In 2013, we acquired two additional dealerships, Berwick Volkswagen and David Nutter Ford, which were renamed Berwick Ford & Pakenham Ford.

In December 2018, we welcomed Lexus of Berwick to our group, and in February 2020, we made our biggest acquisition to date by acquiring Frankston Toyota, Cranbourne Toyota, and Peninsula Skoda. In December 2020, we expanded our group further by welcoming Berwick Mazda, followed by Mornington & Rosebud Toyota in October 2021. Today, our group employs over 480 dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for over a decade.

As a family-owned business, we take pride in employing local people and giving back to the community. We sponsor numerous local sporting clubs, schools, and charities, embodying our commitment to serving the community.
