"My wife and I used to frequent this restaurant often, living just around the corner it's a no brainier when the food was great. The last two times we've gotten takeaway, I found a copious amount of shell in my fried rice, and most recently tonight, the food is lacklustre at best, and my wife found a hair on the second bite of her cashew nut chicken. Not to mention the refusal for the resteraunt to accept legal tender - they do not keep change about in the resteraunt so if you wish to pay cash, expect a fight and ensure you have correct weight. It's unlikely we'll return. There are much better resteraunts trying to cook delicious food we wouldn't be able to make better at home."
"Delicious food, the banquet is a great move, bonus points for byo. Make sure you try the Sago pudding!"
"Ordered BBQ duck, Tom Kha with prawns and Crispy pork belly with gailan. BBQ duck was amazing - highly recommended, thin crispy layer outside and juicy meat inside. Tom Kha was also great but could be richer in terms of flavour. Gailan in crispy pork gailan taste delicious. Overall all dishes were tasty but it could be improved by increasing the portion of meat in the dishes relative to veggies. Also, the price for a bowl of rice was a bit expensive - $5 per bowl. Total bill for 3 dishes plus a bowl of rice was around $80 for two people."
"Food was fresh and delicious.. try the BBQ Duck or Chicken Hokkein Noodles or for starters the Vegetable Spring Rolls.. an oldie but a goodie. Service was very prompt and courteous. Only has street parking and there is wheelchair access to restaurant. Only issue was the noise level once the room filled with patrons, well worth a visit tho."
"Been twice in the last 12 months when visiting Brissie and have come away both times looking forward to our next visit. The food is good with plenty of flavour. The rice dishes are tasty as well. The salt and pepper squid and the accompanying aioli is superb. The Tom nam soup is a little sweet and needs a squeeze of the lime to balance it but is packed with moist chicken . The whole barramundi and green apple salad is notable with the salad dressing being a highlight of the dish. The molasses sauce accompanying the BBQ duck is amazing but the duck was a little dry. The crispy pork belly bites are just that and tasty. It's on the more expensive side for Thai food but I believe you get what you pay for. The staff are very busy but helpful, friendly and efficient. Even our 20mth yo grandson enjoyed the food and consumed his fair share of the meal."
