"Mulled wine and Jager schnitzel, perfect combination. Food very well presented, pleasant background music. Decor pleasant but chairs a little uncomfortable when sitting for any length of time. Cushions for seats helped. Not at all busy unfortunately so lacking in a little atmosphere. Would recommend for nicely cooked pleasant meal."

"First of all, I want to say the 2 youngs girls who where on shift were lovely and this review has nothing regarding them. My husband and I have been wanting to come here for some time and after hearing friends give good reviews about it, hubby thought he would book a table and take me there yesterday for Mother's day. We both had looked at menu before we went and were looking forward to there sausages. We got there to be told it was a set menu,choice of 2 or 3 $59 for selection of 2, $69 for selection of 3. There were no sausages on the menu. We chose 2 as we had been told how big the meals were by friends, we both picked Main and Desert. We waited for 1hr &10min for it to come out. The meals were so small, desert was a very small piece of what we ordered. We thought $49 for very small meals was very disappointing not to mention the wait. We left saying we have been but will never dine there again..."

"We went to Bavarian Blue with some friends. Beforehand, I was curious how authentic and how good the food would be there. I myself come from Germany and have lived in Bavaria for more than 20 years. The menu listed a lot of German dishes and original drinks. Chicken Parmigiana was a bit out of place, but apparently it is a must on a menu in Australia. But there was also curry sausage, which you can eat everywhere in Germany ... I had pork knuckle for lunch and the others had goulash, barbecue and schnitzel, among other things. The Pork Knuckle was one of the best I had had in Australia so far. Very tender, juicy and a wonderful flavour. The knuckle was well done, and the meat was easy to pull off the bone. Likewise, the sauerkraut was incredible, not too sour and cooked properly. Traditionally, you could order original Bavarian wheat beer to go with it (or various other German beers). The service was friendly and the service was good. Overall, I can highly recommend Bavarian Blue. Our friends were also delighted. We will definitely come again."
