About the Business
Welcome to The King David School - Administration, located at Armadale, Orrong Road, 520 in Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is dedicated to providing a warm and caring educational environment for our students. With a strong focus on academic excellence, we also prioritize inclusivity, egalitarianism, social justice, and the development of a strong Jewish identity.
At The King David School, we believe in nurturing creative thinking skills for the future. Our students thrive in an environment that encourages their individuality and fosters their personal growth. We are proud to offer a wide range of educational opportunities, including a Spring Concert that showcases the musical talents of our students from the Junior School through to Year 12.
In collaboration with Progressive Judaism Victoria (PJV), Kol HaLev, and the Jewish Museum, we are excited to host community education events that promote cultural understanding and engagement. We believe in fostering connections across generations and spreading joy, as demonstrated by our heartwarming visit to Emmy Monash by Gan Seorah, our youngest students.
The Next Chapter, a production written and directed by our very own Nissim Ben-Salamon, took our Years 3 to 5 students on an enchanting journey with Billie. This is just one example of the creative endeavors our students undertake to explore their talents and express their unique perspectives.
We are proud to announce that our Director of Jewish Life and Learning, Sidra Moshinsky, has been recognized with the Sylvia Gelman Award by the National Council for Jewish Women Australia (NCJWA) Victoria. This award celebrates outstanding women educators and highlights the commitment to Jewish education at our school.
Our Principal, Marc Light, shares his insights into current events and educational pedagogy, providing a deeper understanding of how they shape our educational programs and school culture. We encourage our students to seize the multitude of opportunities available to them, be it in sports, fitness, performing arts, visual arts, or community leadership.
As we bid farewell to Lahra Carey, our School Council President, we express our sincere gratitude for her inspirational leadership and dedication to our school community. Her contributions have been invaluable, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors.
Finally, we would like to acknowledge the achievements of the Matildas in the FIFA World Cup and the way they captured the hearts of Australia. Their campaign is a testament to the spirit of celebration and unity that we strive to foster at The King David School.

Reviews
"Horrible on the tram and I have walked past the 7-11 on the intersection of Glen Huntly and Hawthorn road and seen kids in an abnormal uniform with a tree on it vaping, this school has no control over their students"
"Very pleased with the progress of the school, it’s values and culture"
"Wish I could give it zero stars. The students are the worst, at 3:30, they all pile themselves onto the trams, not giving the general public any respect. They stand in front of doorways, put their bags and feet in the middle of the aisles and talk loudly, disturbing literally everyone else."
"i am disgusted with people that hurt my heart on transport there super rude and disrespectful to everyone not taking kids there hang on im only 15"
"Wonderful school. I moved here this year and everyone is so kind and welcoming!"
