"This restaurant was quiet and quaint. The food was good. I ordered a #2 bowl. Simply chicken (breaded) with lettuce and rice. Good price point and enough food for a full meal. I was not the biggest fan of the Japanese mayo, but overall the meal was hot and yummy to take to go. They provide lids, utensils, napkins and chop sticks. I was expecting more sushi but I came before they closed at 3pm. Would come back!"
"A great place for a quick bite. I had the chicken katsu curry. The turnaround was fast, the serving generous and well priced. The chicken cooked well and crunchy. Curry was not too rich, well balanced and had a nice mild heat. The pickles also brought a nice texture and flavour."
"The line is always out the door at lunch time but moves fast. Good selection of sushi but I usually get the salmon aburi bowl. Relatively cheap lunch for what you're getting and it's tasty. Sometimes the quality differs so could be a bit hit and miss. Haven't tried other dishes but friends have said karaage chicken bowl is just ok."
"Had lunch here earlier this week. Meals were prepared quickly. Table seating is limited in busy lunch period. Chicken and beef dishes we ordered were tasty but portions were small. The bulk of the dish is steamed plain rice. Two meals and two soft drinks cos $33 (2022 prices)."
"Great place for some Japanese fast food. I like the yakiudon noodles that are made to order. Always hot in temperature, and not overly salty. Wait time also has been always reasonable. There are a few tables for dining in, but most people do takeaway there."
