Reviews
"I recently visited this charming Italian restaurant in the heart of the CBD, and I must say, it exudes a warm and cozy vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff here are generally friendly and always ready to assist, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. As an Italian restaurant, I was especially excited to try their renowned pizzas. However, I must admit that my personal experience left me somewhat disappointed. The pizzas I ordered seemed to lack the warmth and freshness that I associate with authentic Italian pies. They felt a bit cold and soggy, which affected the overall flavor. Perhaps it was an isolated incident, but for me, pizza is a fundamental aspect of any Italian eatery, and I expected a bit more. On the other hand, my experience with their gnocchi was truly exceptional. The dish was cooked to perfection, with a delightful blend of flavors that truly captured the essence of Italian cuisine. It was evident that the chef put a lot of effort into crafting this dish, and it certainly paid off. In light of my mixed experience, I decided to rate this restaurant 3 stars. While the cozy ambiance and excellent gnocchi left a positive impression, the underwhelming pizza was a significant factor in my rating. Nonetheless, it's worth noting that everyone's taste preferences are different, and other diners might have a different perspective on the pizzas. For those who appreciate a warm and inviting ambiance and are fans of gnocchi, this Italian restaurant could still be a worthwhile option. However, if you're seeking outstanding pizzas that transport you to the streets of Italy, you might want to explore other pizzerias in the city. Regardless, it's always a joy to experience the diverse culinary offerings that the CBD has to offer."
"Good pizza and pesto. We thought that we ordered too much at the start but ended up eating up all. Staffs were friendly, so overall it was great, but could be better."
"You can not call to book they refer you to there website exclusively for bookings! A large space here! What seemed to be two private function rooms and the rest of the restaurant with the bar in the middle and and nook by the stairs for those in more private dinning. Cocktails list was huge in range - would recommend the berry crush and they carry a few beers including there own larger on tap. The pizzas had a great base! The crust was crisp. I would say there was a bit too much Parmesan that came on one pizza. See pictures. Staff were friendly and accommodating."
"The food here is good - we knew that and it's why we wanted to go after a Friday night shipping in the city. We were turned away one week at about 6:30, told that there were no tables free for 2 people, despite held the restaurant being empty. The next week we returned earlier (about 5pm) and we're almost turned away again, but we snagged the last outside table, which must be what they use for walk-ins. We had pizza, pasta and drinks, spent an hour there and then left, and there were still at least 6 empty tables for 2 inside that we could have sat at without taking away from their existing bookings. I don't understand why they turn people away when could easily accommodate you at a short sitting."
