"Do not buy from this company. I purchased a travel pram from them & delivery was delayed by 1week, After many calls to the courier and the company they offered refund and I accepted the refund ,not it has been 2 weeks and I have not received mymoney back,I have called them 5 times already the answer is the refund has been processedand it will take 1-2 days!! I have lodged a dispute with my bank and I have raised a complaint with consumer affairs. This business needs to be shut down. As you can see from reviews I’m not the first person they have ignored or not refunded and I’m sure I won’t be the last."
"Do not buy from this company. I purchased a cot from them & chose to collect. I asked if I could pick it up from the Preston store as it’s close and they said there was no stock there and pick up was ringwood. I then called as I never received an email to say I can collect and confirmed they had stock there and they told me they did. I drove 1hour to collect only to get there and be told they had no stock there. I was never offered delivered at their expense I had to tell them to deliver it to me & I wasn’t paying for delivery after they wasted my time. I then had to call and chase them to confirm when it’s being delivered. After no calls backs or delivery I asked for my order to be cancelled and a refunded and they are reading my messenger messages and not replying and ignoring all emails. I have lodged a dispute with my bank and I have raised a complaint with consumer affairs. This business needs to be shut down. As you can see from reviews I’m not the first person they have ignored or not refunded and I’m sure I won’t be the last. I need a cot for my baby, I’m pregnant & this is not the sort of stress I need but this company doesn’t care about that they only care about taking your money."
"LOST LAYBY PAYMENTS. ORDER ARRIVED OVER A MONTH LATE. WRONG MATTRESS DELIVERED WHICH WAS OF A LESSER QUALITY AND CHEEPER THAN WHAT WE PAID. ALMOST THREE MONTHS LATER AND ENDLESS CALLS AND ARGUMENTS WE GET A DIRTY AND TORN MATTRESS THATS NOT IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. This is a summery of our dealings with this company and JERRY. After all this the manager JERRY has the audacity to say my partner is rude when she is just fed up of the lies, poor service and terrible condition of the stock we are receiving. My partner posted her own review and JERRY called her directly and threatened to not replace the mattress unless she takes her review down! There are photos of the mattress we were sent. JERRY also stated that he would come to our house to deliver the mattress. So now I'm worried that JERRY the store manager who is upset by our review is going to come to our house! Cocoon, the company that supplies our mattress has stepped in and is dealing with JERRY for us so we don't have to. It's not Cocoons fault that Baby Directs JERRY has Terrible customers service skills and just poor people skills in general however, they are still rectifying the situation for us."
"NIGHTMARE DIRECT Not hygienic place: Each of the four boxes I opened from this place came with whitetail spiders, some of them huge (I'm attaching some images), one box with a massive huntsman spider. This place is not hygienic (to be polite in my definition). Not good, specially for a baby room. High chances they will fail with your delivery: I purchased products that were supposed to be available and delivery time was supposed to be 2 to 5 days at the time I placed the order. Not true. Apparently, all products where available but in some warehouse in Australia and took 3 weeks (after many follow-ups) to receive them. There was another lady complaining about the same issue when I went to pickup my order and her case was worst as she never received her products (after months of placing her order), and they didn't want to refund her money. She was just fighting to get her money back now. Terrible customer service: After 10 days of placing the order (which I thought it was available) I requested a refund. Immediately they refused to refund my own money, which I found very unfair, considering the products were delayed and it should be my choice to get my money back as a customer. Do yourself a favor and take your order somewhere else."
