Our comprehensive range of services includes specialized care for gay and lesbian health, transgender health, sexual health and HIV, women's health and contraception, travel medicine, immunizations, and minor procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and stitching. We also offer wound care, Sculptra lipoatrophy treatment, health care plans, mental health support, health checks, aviation and employment medicals, and much more.
To ensure the highest level of care for all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, religious or ethnic background, income, social and legal status, we have established a welcoming and inclusive environment. We are proud to have three experienced psychologists available six days a week, as well as specialist dieticians who collaborate with us on a regular basis.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we prioritize the safety of our patients and staff. If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19, such as cough, sore throat, fever, runny nose, or loss of taste or smell, we encourage you to utilize our telehealth services and get tested for COVID-19 before visiting our clinic in person. Please note that Prahran Market Clinic does not offer PCR or rapid antigen testing for COVID-19.
Additionally, we are actively participating in the Monkeypox vaccine roll-out, offering booster doses to eligible individuals. We currently have the Monkeypox vaccine in stock, and appointments can be scheduled with your GP. Please ensure that you have a valid Medicare card to receive the Monkeypox vaccine at our clinic. However, we no longer provide COVID-19 vaccines.

"I love the PMC as the doctor there Ms V was very nice, friendly and helpful. She made me a lots of support by my questions and nervous. But their reception staffs are terrible, such as I book the appointment last Friday and their staff booked me on phone was this coming Wednesday and when I traveled PMC this morning, reception told me it was actually booked next week? I have not received any confirmation message nor any emails. And waste my morning come to the PMC then get some fake smiles and 'Sorry for inconvenience.' Well I hope they could experience the same and learn how to empathy."
"Dr. Doolabh Is the best in sexual health area. She has good knowledge and willing to hear about my queries to deliver the best result. I was put through to her randomly as the previous doctor I saw in this clinic since 2018 has left. She is ver open minded and supportive, which is hard to find in a person. With the area that I has discussed with her, I feel comfortable knowing that I can share my thoughts with no judgement. "I’ve been with them for 10+ years now as I never found a better place❤︎ (is an FtM) even when I was homeless they (my awesome GP Dr. Sven Strecker and the nurses) helped me when they can and tended my injuries for free sometimes… when I had issues or was feed I called and they disputed it quickly as mistakes happen :)"

"Best gp clinic for queer people I've found in Melbourne. Dr Beng Eu was very reasonable, open to any of my unique needs and willing to negotiate and educate me of my options. Steve was a very overqualified pathologist, blood test was extremely gentle, no pain at all, quick, precise and efficient. Also was very friendly and passionate. Never found a single pathologist in Melbourne who was as gentle, precise, efficient and friendly as Steve. I don't see why anyone can complain when there is such high quality service with bulk billing, I've scoured the public sector and could never find such amazing but also affordable service as I did at prahran market clinic."
