Welcome to Tanya James School of Dance, located in the vibrant community of Knoxfield, Australia. Since 1989, we have been more than just a dance school; we are a dance family that embraces everyone with open arms.

At Tanya James School of Dance, we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for dance education and performance. Whether you are looking for a fun hobby or aspire to pursue a career in dance teaching, we offer a range of safe dance techniques that cater to all levels and ages.

Our classes are suitable for students as young as 2 years old to adults, and we warmly welcome both recreational dancers and those seeking to undertake their teaching diploma through the State Dance Association (SDA) syllabus. With a diverse range of classes including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, and Acrobatics, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights of our dance calendar is our end-of-year performances. These showcases are a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our students. You can catch a glimpse of our performances by checking out our photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram.

Classes for 2023 will commence on Tuesday, January 31st, and will be held during school terms. Please note that classes will not be held during school holidays or on public holidays. Our term dates for the year are as follows: Term 1 (January 31st to April 6th), Term 2 (April 26th to June 23rd), Term 3 (July 10th to September 15th), and Term 4 (October 2nd to November 23rd).

Mark your calendars for our highly anticipated 2023 concert, which will take place on Friday, November 24th, and Saturday, November 25th, at Mahon Theatre, Aquinas College Ringwood.
