Welcome to Natya Praana School of Indian Classical Dance, located in Noble Park North, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we strive to provide education without fear, art without vulgarity, and beauty without cruelty, just like our inspiration Rukmini Devi and her renowned institution, "Kalakshetra."

At Natya Praana, we specialize in Bharatha Natyam, the classical South Indian dance style. This ancient art form can be traced back to Sage Bharatha himself and was revived and brought to the forefront by the illustrious Rukmini Devi. Continuing this legacy, the dancing duo Dhananjayans are carrying the torch forward and inspiring our students.

According to V.P. Dhananjayan, "Dance or Nritya is the one in which all these aspects of creation are unified, that is Geetam – the sound, Vadyam – the rhythm or time, and Nrittam – the movement." Through Bharatanatyam, we aim to teach our students not just the technicalities of the dance form, but also the essence of self-expression and self-discovery.
