Welcome to Save the Children Op Shop in Windsor, located on Chapel Street at 59-61. As one of Save the Children's many op shops across Australia, we offer more than just retail therapy. When you shop with us, you not only find a wide range of recycled fashion pieces, toys, books, and unique vintage and modern treasures, but you also contribute to creating better lives for children in Australia and around the world.
At Save the Children Op Shop, our friendly volunteers make your shopping experience truly special. They are dedicated to helping you find the perfect items while supporting our mission to improve the lives of children. We are proud to be a book store, establishment, point of interest, and store all in one.
While most of our donated items are sold in our op shops, we understand that not everything finds a new home. That's why we have partnered with SCRgroup to give more clothing, handbags, manchester, and soft furnishings a second chance. Items that can't be sold in our op shops are either taken overseas to be re-homed, recycled into rags, or turned into biofuel. This ensures that nothing goes to waste, and we continue to make a positive impact on both local and global communities.
Please note that we are unable to accept mattresses at our op shop.
As a volunteer-driven organization, our opening hours may vary depending on availability. We rely on the dedication of our volunteers to help us operate, and we appreciate their support in creating a better world for children.

"Today, I went to this store. I started looking at the clothes, very happy with what I found. Unfortunately, I ran into a very rude saleswoman who was following me around. I politely asked her if I could try on or put things down, and she replied in a very crude way that it was 4 items maximum. When I get changed, she tries to look in my fitting room. And I quickly realize that she doesn't treat other customers in the same way. I don't want to imply that this woman was racist, but I simply wonder why she acted this way with me, and in a very polite way with the other customers. In view of this unpleasant experience, I don't intend to return to this store."
