"A nice walk next to the river .. no facilities but good spot for a picnic or a spot of reflection."
"This used to be a great place to relax, fish and kayak. Road access has been greatly limited. The kayak ramp has gone, and the works done with logs to hold the bank are in a bad shape. Apart from the grassed area with one table there appears to be little maintenance carried out here now."
"Little roadside park on the Yarra River. Couple of picnic tables and a short walk along the river. Couple of big shady trees. Cool off in the creek if you dare"
"Nice little park of Maroondah near the Yarra Bridge. Offers about a 600m loop walk from the car park down along the river bank and back to the carpark. You can swim there in 2 spots. The first one near the picnic area is shallow with little or no current whilst the second one is on the corner of the walk down an embankment with a small sand beach when the river is not high. Good for kids to swim with supervision."
