"Yoo, to anyone considering getting a tattoo I highly recommend The Art of Tattoo studio! I just got two small designs on my wrists after walking in without an appointment, and right from the start everyone was super helpful and friendly towards me. Bonnie was really kind and friendly at the front desk and in helping me with the whole visit, and my artist Miguel was also really kind and understanding and lovely to work with, and I’m super pleased with the end result and am thankful for him tattooing me :) Also the studio itself is really nice and chill, and is quite spacious and is really relaxing to be in. :) Overall I’d 100% recommend anyone considering a tattoo to come here. I had a great experience from start to finish and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to someone for a visit. "My partner and I decided on some semi-spontaneous tattoos to commemorate a holiday and celebrate our favourite band. From the moment we called and enquired we had the most amazing experience with the team. Diago on the front desk was super helpful and amazing (he mentioned it was his first week but he went above and beyond). We were at the studio for a while because we were walk ins, but everyone gave us great reccos for coffee and food nearby. And all of the staff were super friendly and we had such a great time just bantering with everyone. There was such a personable feel from the whole studio, just really good vibes. We spoke to one of the apprentices a bit, Hosher I think! They were super lovely and just made us feel so relaxed and chilled. We both saw Paul for our tattoos, who was just the most lovely person! We were getting some script each and a symbol from a band, and Paul was very understanding that we just wanted the symbol as it appears on the album. He also helped my partner pick a lettering style while was timeless but had some character. When my partner voiced some weariness Paul offered to draw up the lettering a few ways so he could see it in a few styles. My partner ended up going with Paul's initial suggestion and is so happy he did! All in all, it was just a great vibe at the studio and felt so welcoming and fun for us. We were tired from travelling for two weeks and it really just gave us lots of energy. It was a great experience from start to finish and we LOVE our tattoos :)"

"*Edit to the below, got my refund in the end but took 3 weeks and the below action whereas if I did nothing, who knows, so proceed at your own caution. Untrustworthy and dodgy operation. Don't use them. I came in to discuss a tattoo I wanted and had to pay a deposit to make a booking, which I did. Later that day I changed my mind due to concerns around needing to limit my gym training after getting the tattoo. I sent an email that afternoon apologising and requesting my deposit back. My email was only a few hours after booking an appointment 2 months in advance so no way this cost them in any way such as not being able to take another booking etc. Was told that apparently I was advised the deposit was not refundable (not true). Even so, legally there are a few more steps you have to take for this to even be enforceable. I advised I would take further action to get my deposit back (a review here saying what happened was part of this, other regulatory/reporting action as well), they begrudgingly advised they would refund me. This has still not happened nearly 2 weeks on so writing this as a warning to others while taking further action to get my funds back."
