"My wife's parents recently experienced some truly poor customer service from a staff member at the Nunawadding store named Melissa. My father in law has Motor Neuron Disease and has mobility issues - after purchasing a mirror he enquired as to whether they could borrow a trolley to help get the mirror to their car. Melissa said there were no trolleys but they could pay extra for home delivery. When asked if there was any way someone from the store could help get the mirror to the car Melissa was dismissive saying something along the lines of "we've got too many other things to do". Meanwhile the store was empty. Whether or not staff members are allowed to help, Melissa made no effort to even pretend to care. The way she spoke made them feel embarrassed and belittled. It was the absolute opposite of customer service. Suffice to say, nobody from our extended family or friends will ever be shopping at Provincial Home Living again."

"I am very sad to hear of the experience some have had at PHL Nunawading. Every time I have attended this store I have been given great service and the merchandising is better than most due to the color co ordination and generous space. I have found the staff willing to allow me to look and take my time to create in my mind what I wish to achieve within my home. This is a refreshing change and also my first purchase over $300 being kindly offered a 10% discount for my loyalty membership when it was not asked for, neither was it a current promotion. Thanks PHL Nunawading. Its a pleasure shopping there."

"While I absolutely love the Provincial Home Living Stores I am not happy with the Nunawading store and the Manager's lack of support/advice at the time of making a large purchase of furniture, which I recently did, I told the Manager at the time of purchase that I would I would pick up the 2 x pieces of furniture and a large rug, at a later date. I would have thought that it would be common courtesy to advise me that when picking up from the store I should make sure that I bring help to get the furniture down a lift and into my car because I would not get any assistance from the store employees due to OHS issues. While I can appreciate that please let your customers know. I took a wasted day off work to pick up the goods now I have to arrange for a courier. Provincial Living Nunawading please be more helpful to your customers"
