Our white card course, also known as construction induction training or red card training, ensures that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely in the construction industry. It is a mandatory legal requirement for all individuals working at a construction site. Whether you are an Australian resident or an international student, our CRICOS provider status allows you to enroll in our white card course. Please note that a valid visa is required for international students, and we will conduct a VEVO check for all international students.

To ensure the integrity of our training programs, we require participants to provide a valid photo ID. Please note that an overseas driver's license is not acceptable for identification purposes.

When you choose Origin Institute for your white card training, you don't need to bring your own personal protective equipment (PPE). Our trainer will provide them for you to use during the assessment stage.

Upon completion of our training program, we will issue a Statement of Attainment (SoA) on the same day. The SoA can be used as an interim White Card for up to 60 days until you receive the plastic White Card. It typically takes around 2-3 weeks to receive your physical white card.

Rest assured that once you have the Statement of Attainment (SoA), you can start working immediately. We usually issue the SoA on the same day of your course completion, allowing you to enter the construction industry without delay.

The White Card has no expiry date. However, if you have left the industry for more than 2 consecutive years, you will need to attend another White Card training to ensure your knowledge and skills are up to date.
