"I went to portmans at fountain gate today even though I love the chadstone outlet and their staff. I thought I d give it a go. But being one of the first customers, there Was no questions asked about assistance. When came up to the counter but needed assistance In getting a one size up, but the rack was to high on which it was hanging for me to look, I had to prompt the sales assistant who was so busy on her phone to get the item for me. Both ladies at the counter and in store were not the friendliest. I might have not looked 1million bucks this morning but I have spent more than $400 in store at chaddy already. Disregarding looks and watching and helping a customer would help this store definitely reach sales targets. And make the customer a return customer. Well from my experience today I rather drive to chadstone and shop around happy sales assistants. May be portmans should have a good look at customer service at their Fg outlet. I am in retail and know that this is definitely not the way to get yourself through sales budgets."

"Terrible experience. We went in there at 8 on a Friday knowing that they'd be starting to pack up. We had no intentions of staying too long but we felt so unwelcomed. One of the staff members on that night kept telling the other to hurry up because "she is not staying 1 minute past 9". I've worked in retail and I understand how annoying it can be trying to close up but unfortunately, pushing people out is not the way to go about it. 3 of us had no budget and found wonderful dresses but left them and walked out at 8.30 with the door already half closed. I love portmans but I'll stick to my local store from now on."
