Welcome to Ivanhoe Grammar School, a prestigious educational institution located in Macleod, Australia. Our dedicated Year 9 campus offers students a unique university-based learning experience, made possible through our partnership with La Trobe University.

At our Year 9 campus, students are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in university-style learning, which challenges, inspires, and prepares them for their Senior Years and beyond. Each year, Year 9 students from Ivanhoe and Plenty campuses are relocated to our University Campus to take advantage of this exceptional educational experience.

Situated on the outskirts of La Trobe University, our campus is housed in newly renovated terraces that have been transformed into modern educational spaces designed specifically for the learning needs of Year 9 students. These open and flexible learning spaces include classrooms, an R-Lounge for reading and reflection, an innovation hub, science and music rooms, all taking advantage of the beautiful natural surroundings of the campus.

As part of our partnership with La Trobe University, our students have access to their facilities, including state-of-the-art Science Laboratories and a Wildlife Sanctuary. La Trobe academics also contribute to our students' studies through a joint educational program.

The Year 9 Program at our University Campus is tailored to the critical turning point of adolescence, offering a curriculum that engages students and fosters their intellectual growth. Throughout the year, students participate in various activities, such as full-day lectures at La Trobe University and presenting their work at the IGNITE Expo.
