About the Business
Welcome to St John's Regional College, a Catholic Co-educational Secondary School located in the vibrant and multicultural suburb of Dandenong, Australia. Our institution is a point of interest and a recognized establishment in the community.
At St John's, our mission is to support the growth of each student to the 'fullness of life' that Jesus brings. We believe in nurturing the whole person and encouraging students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives. Our focus is on the holistic development of our students, ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate the ever-evolving world.
The wellbeing of our students is at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that every individual is made in the image of God, and this belief guides our approach to education. We prioritize the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our students, creating a safe and inclusive environment for them to thrive.
Being a part of St John's Regional College means being part of a larger community. While our buildings and grounds provide the physical space for teaching, learning, and play, it is our people that truly make our institution special. Our vibrant community is made up of individuals from diverse cultures and languages, making us one of the most multicultural schools in Melbourne. We take pride in our sense of self, community, and spirituality.
Our spirituality is inspired by our patrons, Saint John Baptist De La Salle and the Venerable Nano Nagle. Their lives exemplify faith in Jesus Christ and service to the most vulnerable. From their stories, our community draws strength, guidance, and faith.
We invite you to explore our new website and consider St John's Regional College for the future education of your children. We offer a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience, preparing students for success in their academic, personal, and professional lives.
In addition, we have exciting upcoming events such as the Careers and Pathways Expo, where students and families can explore the various opportunities available to them. We also have a Parent Information Session on Cyber Safety, presented by an international expert, to ensure the safety of our students in the digital world.
Lastly, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our institution stands, the Bunurong and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the Elders, both past and present, and recognize their rich cultural heritage.
Thank you for visiting our website, and we look forward to welcoming you to St John's Regional College.

"This school isn't bad but good teachers AND I mean very well respected and Kind teachers are leaving which makes the school dull. But it's still a good school. - a student at this school"
"Abusive, disappointment, disgust, embarrassment, depression, liars, thieves are what these school values are. I will never ever send my children here. After what my sister experienced with her CHILDREN (plural) is an absolute abomination. They do not take care of children with special needs, they bully their students to the point of psychological help, they belittle them. Truthfully you’re better sending your child to the mafia or cartel. I mean at least they’ll care more for your child than this horrible school. I pray God gets this school closed down and under review."
"I've never seen such a fall from grace, all the good teachers are gone or leaving. Seriously not worth the money moving forward. I wish I had gone anywhere else. There are lots of better high schools in the area -ex student."
"Attended this school back in 2014 and could not last 2 months. within those two months I was continuously harassed and assaulted and when I had informed the leaders, teachers and guardians all they had done was given the perpetrators one detention and that was it. this school only cares about their reputation, and their white students. its very disgusting because upon attending this school I was informed that this school was diverse and accepting of all backgrounds."
"I'm so pleased we chose this school for our children. The teachers and leadership team, including the principal, are very supportive and available whenever there is any type of question. The students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities and have had many wonderful experiences including camps, musicals, on campus fun days, sporting opportunities along with being supported in their academic endeavours, regardless of the type of path they wish to take. It's super exciting to see their extensive improvement plans unfolding too!"
