Last week, our Grade 5/6 students were invited to attend a transition day at Upper Yarra Secondary College. This initiative aims to familiarize our students with the nearby high school, its state-of-the-art facilities, and the diverse learning experiences it offers. During this visit, our students participated in a thrilling drama class, engaging in various role-playing activities and emotive acting. Additionally, they had the chance to explore the wonders of technology in Upper Yarra's S.T.E.A.M class, operating Robomasters on iPads and immersing themselves in virtual reality experiences.

We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements, and we would like to highlight the exceptional accomplishments of India and Billie, among several other Wesburn Primary School students. These talented individuals have been invited to participate in the prestigious Victorian High Ability Program in Literacy and Numeracy. Such invitations are based on outstanding student achievement in NAPLAN, a testament to their dedication and hard work. Congratulations to all our students who have had the privilege of participating in this esteemed program.
