Neighborhood House

Welcome to Neighborhood House, a unique and special institution located in Albert Park, Carter Street, 5. Since its establishment in 1977, Neighborhood House has been a haven for preschool children, providing them with a home away from home.

At Neighborhood House, we cater to 40 children at any given time and around 90 children each week, from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Our children are divided into three separate age groups: Early Learners (1-3 years old), Kindergarten (3-4 years old), and Pre-School (4 years old to school age). We take pride in having Qualified Kindergarten Teachers deliver our 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten Programs.

Our institution offers outstanding Educational Programs that adhere to the National Quality Frameworks and Curriculum, overseen by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. We have a long history of meeting the individual needs of each child, regardless of their capabilities. Our high staff-to-child ratios go beyond the regulations, ensuring that every child can maximize their full potential in an environment conducive to their growth.

Neighborhood House is proud to have a highly qualified and experienced team of professional teachers, with an average retention rate of over 10 years. Our center provides cooked nutritional meals every day, prepared by our qualified Chef, who caters to the individual dietary requirements of all children.
