"If I could give less stars I would. Partner and I bought an engagement ring about a year ago. The service on the day we bought it was absolutely incredible. The lady who helped us spent 90 minutes or more with us trying different options and combinations. She was fantastic. We chose a ring we loved, bought it the next day and left happy. That's where the nice part of the story ends. Fast forward a few weeks and I noticed a loose prong. So I took the ring in and they were happy to repair it free of charge. No worries. I pick it up a week later, walk out of the store and realise the prong was never fixed. Could have been an oversight and mistakes happen so I take it back into the shop point it out to the man working and he marks it this time and sends it back to the jeweler for repair again. We went back 6 months later to buy wedding bands. Told them I wanted yellow gold to fit around my centre stone. I was only shown white gold rings in very opposite styles to my engagement ring (lots of details and engraving when my e-ring is more simple) until I asked the man serving me to specifically only show me yellow gold. I found a ring that matched well (at half the price the ones they were pushing were) and got it resized. Taking their advice to go slightly bigger for a more comfortable fit. When it came back the sizing was correct but because the wedding band was designed to sit under my engagement ring it made my engagement ring too small when worn together. I was assured at the time that this was fine but on trying them out at home they couldn’t be worn together because my e-ring was too small to fit over the wedding ring and they pushed each other apart. A few weeks before my wedding I took both rings in to be sized correctly and soldered together. They came back crooked to the naked eye. I'm talking close to a millimetre off centre which looked ridiculous and was obviously poorly done. (Only one photo attached because I didn't think to take more but the solder on the inside of the band was asymmetrical and the bands themselves were misaligned as well as the stones being crooked). My partner went in to get a refund for the soldering which they begrudgingly gave and took the botched solder job to another jewelers who repaired it the same day. My advice is don't trust Burlington with your jewelry. They do terrible workmanship and don't seem to care at all about the quality of their work or the advice they provide."
