As a long-standing institution, we have been empowering and supporting Melbourne's children and young people since 1883. At Roycroft Kindergarten, we prioritize the individuality and needs of each child. With a small community of 22 children in our 4-year-old group, we ensure personalized attention and quality education. Our play and interest-based program encourages children to explore, learn, and have fun in a natural outdoor space. We welcome family involvement and believe in building trusting relationships with parents through open communication and daily updates.

We offer a range of group options to accommodate different schedules, including integrated and separate 3-year-old and 4-year-old groups. Our timetable allows for a consistent and enriching experience that aligns with the Victorian Government's commitment to providing high-quality kindergarten programs.

Starting from 2023, the Victorian Government will make kindergarten programs free for three and four-year-old children, ensuring that every child has the best start in life. We celebrate this initiative as part of the government's Best Start, Best Life reform.

At Roycroft Kindergarten, we understand that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Toilet training is not a requirement for attendance, and our educators are here to support you and your child through this process. We provide child-friendly sunscreen to ensure sun safety, but you are welcome to provide your preferred brand if your child has sensitive skin.
