"Staff are so so rude. I’ve waited and waited to be served a coffee at the counter and the staff literally look down and don’t make eye contact. I thought they were genuinely busy until their friends or people who happen to be of the same ethnicity showed up and they were happy to chat to them. To this day, I’m not sure if those were their mates showing up for a chat or actual customers they were happy to serve. I stood there still being ignored and eventually left. This has happened very often in the afternoon where the cafe is open but they don’t want to work. Food is also meh. They serve scones with flat whipped cream (assume from a can)."
"Staff are so sweet and welcome, the manager also explained the menu thoroughly and was accommodating to our dietary need. Food was amazing, we tried the chicken skewers platter, meat and dip were fresh and tasty. We didn't have room for dessert unfortunately, but looking at the menu, I'd definitely save some space for dessert as they look yummy. The place has a nice ambience and home feeling to it, overall a very satisfying experience."
"The Mill Cafe & Kitchen is excellent. I had fried eggs on sour dough with vegemite & my sister had the avocado smash. They were a delicious. The coffee was so good we has seconds. You won't be disappointed if you enjoy good food."
"The husband had ordered something with bacon, poached egg, hashbrown .. which looked like a burger. I forgot the name. I took chamomile tea. The pot was heavy and too small. The staff were friendly."
"The most enjoyable dish was baked ricotta cheesecake. Simple strawberry smoothie said it had real strawberries (which means there should have been bits of seeds, but none to be found), tasted the strong artificial strawberry flavouring. Iced coffee was alright not that strong, intally it was mistakenly brought to me as an iced latte. The Mediterranean platter was decent the lamb skewers were tasty."
