Welcome to Ceroc Australia Dance Co PTY LTD, located at 26 Crabbes Avenue in North Willoughby, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to bring the modern and stylish dance style of Ceroc to the Sydney area.

Originally from France and popularized in the UK, Ceroc is a unique partner dance that blends elements of jive, ballroom, and swing. It's a smooth and enjoyable dance that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With its versatility and simple movements, Ceroc can be danced to any music with a steady beat, from 40s swing to modern Top 40 hits.

At Ceroc Australia, we believe that Ceroc is one of the easiest partner dance styles to learn. We invite you to come and join one of our Ceroc Sydney dance classes and put our theory to the test! Our classes operate on a weekly basis, so there's no need to sign up for a course. Just turn up any week and you'll fit right into the beginner dance class, alongside other first-timers.

Our experienced teachers will provide you with a fun learning experience in a social environment at any of our class venues across Sydney. We welcome dancers of all ages and especially love beginners! You don't need to bring a partner as we rotate dancers throughout the class, but if you prefer to stay with your own partner, that's absolutely fine too.

Please note that these rules may change depending on the current Covid climate. For participants under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must accompany them to the classes.

In addition, Ceroc & Modern Jive Dance Company is proud to have been involved in the Cancer Council's "Dancing With The City Stars" event. Our Director Julie Gunn coached Olympic Swimming Champion Daniel Kowalski, and together they raised almost $4,500 for the Cancer Council. You can view their winning routine on Youtube.

Ceroc dancing in Australia was founded by Nicky, whose natural dance ability and creative talents set the foundation for Ceroc's success. In 2008, Nicky sold Ceroc & Modern Jive Dance Company to her close friend and teacher, Julie Gunn, who has been leading the company ever since. In November 2013, Julie further expanded CMJ by acquiring Ceroc Australia, which was previously operated by Mark Harding for 14 years. Mark Harding and Nicky Haslam are recognized as the originators of Ceroc in Sydney, and they are pleased to see it now united under the directorship of Julie Gunn and Ceroc & Modern Jive Dance Company.
