We understand that the current inflation situation has led to changes in our billing policy. Starting from July 2023, patients will be charged out of pocket for standard and long consultations. In addition, we are pleased to announce that the 2023 influenza injections are now available at our centre. We are also offering a free flu shot for eligible patients. Furthermore, we provide COVID-19 antiviral oral treatment for eligible groups, ensuring that our patients have access to the necessary care during these challenging times.

We would like to inform our patients that Dr. Mitra Shahri will be joining our team on 27/07/2023 and 01/08/2013 at 1pm. However, please note that there will be no walk-in appointments available for Dr. Shahri on these dates. Dr. Wang, on the other hand, will be accepting both walk-in and appointment-based consultations.

Due to Medicare limitations on the number of patients doctors can see per day, we have adjusted our walk-in times. The walk-in time will now end at 10.30am instead of 11am, and 3.30pm instead of 4pm. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and kindly request that you call or email us by 10am to check whether we have reached our capacity for the day.

Please be aware that our phone lines have been busier than usual since the COVID-19 pandemic. Our receptionist may not be able to answer your call promptly, but we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. We would like to emphasize that our receptionist deserves to be treated with respect, and any threatening or abusive phone calls will be terminated.

As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive care, we require all patients with upper respiratory symptoms to get tested for COVID-19. Symptoms include fever (≥37.5), cough, sore throat, shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), among others. Patients will be advised to have a COVID-19 negative result and check-in with a code prior to their appointment with the doctor. The test will be free for everyone.

We are proud to introduce our experienced doctors, Dr. Nien-Jen Tsuei and Dr. Leo Tak Yu Cheng, who are dedicated to making a positive difference in their patients' lives. Dr. Tsuei graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2004 and obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Leo has been serving the community for the past 7 years and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Both doctors are well-versed in all facets of general practice.
